SM Arena Ticketnet -- When You Lose Your Tickets

I just wanted to share a great experience I had with SM Tickets / SM Arena. As I had mentioned in my previous pos t, I was not looking forward to celebrating my 30th Birthday. J, with much struggle , tried to find me other gifts, but I persuaded him to just get me the cheapest Aerosmith tickets available. I mean, what were the chances that Aerosmith was coming the eve of my birthday? They MUST be meant for me! The cheapest tickets were quite expensive at P2,600 each, considering they were GA, and he offered to buy more expensive ones. I didn't think it was practical though, since we had just paid a lot of money for tuitions in Woodrose and Zobel.  So he bought the GA tickets at Southmall, handed them over to me, and that was that. And then, I lost the tickets. That night, I was using a Cambridge satchel bag. I placed the tickets on the front pocket as soon as J handed it over to me. Shore 2 Shore Travel Services

J and I are, like, the worst kind of clients a travel service can have. Let me expound on this. I am what you call a "sale booker" when it comes to flights. Meaning, I only book flights when it's Piso sale at Cebu Pac. Otherwise, I wouldn't bother. I can say that about 98% of my ticket purchases were done on Piso sale. Aside from that, J and I are masters of commute. And we love it. Meaning, we commute everywhere when we travel! (This got us in trouble in Bangkok though.) For us, commuting is part of immersing yourself in the culture. So we walk and commute everywhere. So we hate any fixed tours. We are also super cheap people. We don't mind staying in places that look like bathrooms, as long as they're safe. If you're wondering why we do this, it's because J and I travel differently from other people. Everyday, J and I work. By everyday, I mean, EVERYDAY. We don't have rest days, weekends, etc. We work everyday. We work until 10PM. The goo...

Ramen Kuroda (BF Homes)

My high school barkada remains my closest friends to this day, and we meet up regularly in the South area to catch up (since we're all based there.) Usually we meet in our favorite Cafe Breton, but for a change they suggested we meet up in BF. They suggested Ramen Kuroda, a place I've never heard of. Now, I am a HUGE, GIMONGOUS FAN of ramen. I kid you not. *Oink oink* Justin is a super duper fan of ramen as well. Well, we're fans of most food, but still. We are ramen snobs, haha! Yushoken still rates #1 on our last, closely followed by Ukkokei (did I even spell that right?). I always love trying new ramen places out, so I was definitely game for this! I was pleasantly surprised to find that Ramen Kuroda was a large restaurant near other familiar restaurants in BF. Most restaurants in BF are teeny hole-in-the-wall places (still with yummy food, of course), but Ramen Kuroda was quite large and could easily seat 50 people.
