Mel and the New Normal

My high school barkada remains my closest friends to this day, and we meet up regularly in the South area to catch up (since we're all based there.) Usually we meet in our favorite Cafe Breton, but for a change they suggested we meet up in BF. They suggested Ramen Kuroda, a place I've never heard of. Now, I am a HUGE, GIMONGOUS FAN of ramen. I kid you not. *Oink oink* Justin is a super duper fan of ramen as well. Well, we're fans of most food, but still. We are ramen snobs, haha! Yushoken still rates #1 on our last, closely followed by Ukkokei (did I even spell that right?). I always love trying new ramen places out, so I was definitely game for this! I was pleasantly surprised to find that Ramen Kuroda was a large restaurant near other familiar restaurants in BF. Most restaurants in BF are teeny hole-in-the-wall places (still with yummy food, of course), but Ramen Kuroda was quite large and could easily seat 50 people. I'm sure everyone has blogged about Magnum Cafe at this point, but since I have photos, I decided to blog about it anyways! A few weeks ago, because of my work, I was at SM Aura practically everyday. The day before Magnum Cafe was supposed to open, I was actually already there! Some social media posts led me to believe that Magnum was already up and running, but I guess that was just a soft launch for bloggers and celebrities. A few days later I was back for work at SM Aura with Just and our friend Aster, and of course I dragged them straight there! AS everyone knows at this point, Magnum opened up a pop-up store in SM Aura that features Magnum ice cream to be used in different desserts. By pop-up, this store is meant to last for only a year. We love Magnum (not crazy obsessed with it, but like it enough to try every new one that comes along), so we really anticipated its opening1 Before entering Magnum, they ask you if you plan to sit-in, or just Make-Your-Own Magnu
