H Cuisine (Timog)

My friends and I, we're avid bazaar shoppers. Living in Alabang, every weekend of November and December is filled with awesome shopping choices in the Cuenca bazaars. I personally used to buy most of my clothes in bazaars!

In the last few years, my friends and I anticipated the presence of H Cuisine in the Cuenca Bazaar, for their one, delicious specialty -- Beef Belly.

I never knew they had a restaurant. So imagine my surprise when I took J to eat in RUB in Timog, and H Cuisine was suddenly right beside it! Since I wanted J to try RUB (I had gone there by myself and ever since I've always wanted to bring J), we pushed through with RUB.

Last week, we ended up in Timog after a purchase meeting in QC. And we knew we would eat here this time!

Was pleasantly surprised when this Dalandan drink came. It was like a giant pitcher with a straw! And soooooo good and refreshing!

 Each order of Beef Belly comes with this warmer, to keep the plate hot while you're eating it. Otherwise, it will grease up!
 Their rates are cheap, for a restaurant that serves such good food! Articles about their young chef-owner are posted through-out the restaurant, and made for interesting read while waiting.

 The friendly waiter offers to pour the gravy for us. My friends, this is the single serving of their Beef Belly. And it's beautiful. It's soft, it's delicious, it's juicy. It's everything we wait for every Christmas. It's our version of the turkey!

I know it looks small, but in reality, the serving is big too. For P300? Winner. Perfection.

Originally I wasn't going to have dessert, because the drink was so big and the food was so rich and good. But I was curious. I wanted to try everything in the restaurant, because the things I availed was so yummy. Could the dessert be good too? I ordered the flourless chocolate cake with... Im not sure if this was icing. Whatever it was, YUM.

Everything was so good, I bought my BFF and my mom some home, the one good for sharing (I think this was P450, without any rice.)

I loved everything, and will definitely be coming back for more when I'm in the area!

I just wanted to share a great experience I had with SM Tickets / SM Arena. As I had mentioned in my previous pos t, I was not looking forward to celebrating my 30th Birthday. J, with much struggle , tried to find me other gifts, but I persuaded him to just get me the cheapest Aerosmith tickets available. I was heavily dependent on my Samsung S4 during this road trip. For some reason, J's Iphone gave my zilch information in Baguio on its map, while the S4 gamely showed us the places to eat in the map and reviews! Calcium Supplements for Breastfeeding Moms

Often times breastfeeding moms forget to take the necessary vitamins since they're so tired or distracted.  However, taking of calcium is so so important. Your body depletes your calcium stores during pregnancy, and  some more during breastfeeding. I personally take Calcium Carbonate (Calci-Aid) by Bayer because I prefer gel capsules over tablets. The recommended dose is 1000mg, but if you're a young mom (14-18 years old) the recommended dose is 1,300 since you are also still building your bones. Calci-Aid is 500mg per capsule, so I take two a day. You can get calcium from a well-rounded diet, but I don't take chances since with out schedule, I don't get to monitor my vitamin intake. Since I don't drink cow's milk (since some of the babies I donate to are allergic to the protein of cow's milk), taking calcium supplements are important everyday.
