Lunchbox (Ronac) Greenhills
Was in Greenhills area a couple of weeks back, and forced Justin to check out Ronac Art Center with me to look at rubber shoes. We actually have done events in Ronac for kiddie parties but I've never seen it personally, so I also wanted to check it out for work.
After checking out Titan and drooling at the shoes (for Justin, not for me), I asked if we could have lunch on the ground floor.
We (okay, I) chose Lunchbox, just because it looked pretty from the outside, hehe. SUCKER!
The interiors were refreshingly cool to the eyes, with clean neat lines and lovely lighting. Even the floor had lighting! I love lighting! Seriously though, I liked the design of the place, and the aircon was nice and cool (it was blisteringly hot outside that day.)
I had the Rueben (P295), which was a corned beef sandwich with the works. Goodness gracious it was YUMMY! Was that dill I tasted? I would order this again in a heartbeat. I actually told Justin that the style reminded me of Breakfast at Antonio's. Even the way it was served was so nice, on a nice wood board with soup and a simple salad. Ayayay.
Justin had the Roast Chicken (P370), which also looked like something served from Breakfast at Antonio's. When I tasted it I thought it was pretty good, moist and savory. Plus it was BIG, which would explain the price.
Last but not the least was their iced tea. Now, I am SUPER MAARTE when it comes to iced teas. I don't like coming back to restaurants with bad drinks or iced teas, even if the food was good. I am fat because of Iced Tea (for real, yo.) If I remember correctly, this was their Peached Iced Tea (P85) which was just okay, not really memorable. I do remember it being super cute and refreshing for that hot day, but not mind-blowing haha.

Hey there, handsome! |
Even the soup was good! |
Hello! |
Refreshing! |
Sorry the menus are sideways - couldn't figure out how to turn them here in blogger haha! As you can see it's not a cheap place, but the food is well-prepared. It's also a nice and cool place to hang out in if you're in the Greenhills area.
