LOL Moments.

J and M watching Les Miz 25th Anniversary Concert on DVD.

M: Is it just me, or is that Joe Jonas as Marius?

J:  Si Nick yan. (Parang close sa mga Jonas.)

Minutes later.....

M: Is it just me, or, is he really bad?

J: He's really bad. Why did they even get him to play Marius? (Irritated tone.)

More minutes later.....

The original cast of Les Miserables 1985 goes onstage and performs "One Day More."

M: Wow, the original Marius is still really good! THAT's how Marius should be played!

J: Kakainis si Jonas, he's standing pa in front, in the middle, with the original Jean Valjean. Feeling!

Nick, front and center at the finale.
Hours later....

M: (Googling Nick Jonas' credentials). J, etong si Nick pala, he played Marius in Broadway talaga!. I mean, hindi sya guest star! Talagang may experience siya in Broadway!

J: I don't care that he was Marius in Broadway. Basta, he wasn't good in the 25th Anniversary. Mas magaling pa the kid who played Gavroche.

M: (showing J the Ipad) Pero hon, looked, he even played Gavroche when he was a kid! I mean, kung sa credentials lang, dapat okay siya as Marius!

J: Ay basta. Sana si Phantom nalang si Marius. (He was referring to Ramin Karimloo, who stole the show when he portrayed Enroljas in the concert).

M: Baka off day lang for Nick. Baka magaling talaga.

J: No way. Not at the same level talaga as the rest of the cast. (Raises hand to a certain level in the air to imitate a bar.)

This discussion goes on until we go to bed.

LOL. You now, if you told us 14 years ago that we would be debating about the capability and qualifications of Nick Jonas as Marius in Les Miserables, we would have died laughing. I guess some things do change, in a funny way.
