Lunchbox (Ronac) Greenhills

Image
Was in Greenhills area a couple of weeks back, and forced Justin to check out Ronac Art Center with me to look at rubber shoes. We actually have done events in Ronac for kiddie parties but I've never seen it personally, so I also wanted to check it out for work. After checking out Titan and drooling at the shoes (for Justin, not for me), I asked if we could have lunch on the ground floor. We (okay, I) chose Lunchbox, just because it looked pretty from the outside, hehe. SUCKER! The interiors were refreshingly cool to the eyes, with clean neat lines and lovely lighting. Even the floor had lighting! I love lighting! Seriously though, I liked the design of the place, and the aircon was nice and cool (it was blisteringly hot outside that day.) I had the Rueben (P295), which was a corned beef sandwich with the works. Goodness gracious it was YUMMY! Was that dill I tasted? I would order this again in a heartbeat. I actually told Justin that the style reminded me of Breakfast...

Families are Forever Mini Sessions

Image
My good friend in the industry, Michelle Morelos, will be migrating to Canada soon! Though we will miss her, we are happy for the new life she is about to begin in Vancity. Before she leaves, she will be  having mini photo sessions for families in an outdoor area in QC. For years I have seen her beautiful shots posted online (thru my clients), and I grabbed the opportunity to have a family photo shoot done by her. As you can see from the samples below, she's really amazing at what she does. We haven't had one done in years! If you're interested, you can reach her at michellemorelos@gmail.com .

My 30th. - Part 1

Image
This birthday celebration was definitely the best I've had in years. =D It started off the day before my actual birthday. On the afternoon of May 8, J and I trooped to SM Arena to watch Aerosmith, one of my favorite bands of ALL TIME. I don't seem like the type to love rock bands (and in fact, buying these tickets surprised some of my close friends), but Aerosmith is LOVE! My childhood default channel was MTV, so I love love love Aerosmith, Meatloaf, Bon Jovi! In addition to that, I love Guitar Hero, and I can rock the Aerosmith game like a pro. Well, maybe not, haha, but I love their albums! Last year, while I was on bedrest, American Idol would play almost every hour on Star World. Therefore, it was my default channel and show for the last few months of my pregnancy. Whenever I would feel sad about our situation, Steve Tyler's antics would make my day. Well, there was more to him than that. He was a great and funny job during that season too. Anyways,...

The Mind Museum

Image
Mika had been dying to visit the Mind Museum since New Year. One light weekend, where J and I didn't have to attend a party personally, we brought the kids to Divisoria for toy and clothes shopping. (Yes, we're super barat in that sense!) We were a bit shocked since 168 was filled to the brim with people! We were used to having Divi and 168 to ourselves, since we always go on weekdays. (You would notice in our pictures then that we were not dressed for a visit to the Museum!) After accomplishing our checklist of items to buy, M asked if we could still go to the Mind Museum. We knew it was a rare occasion that we were with the kids on a weekend, so even though J was tired from driving and the traffic, we gave way and went to the museum. We've been wanting to take her anyways before the end of the featured exhibit on Bio-Rhythm, as Mika is a huge music and sounds fan.  When I went to pay the entrance, I admit I was a bit thrown off by the total for us 4. The BioRhytm...

Wildflour Cafe + Bakery

Image
I just wanted to blog very quickly about our visit to Wildflour. I'm not starving right now anyways (I cheated today, my kids make it so hard to stay on this diet!) so might as well blog about it. Wildflour is one of the top restaurants in Manila now. Well, this is based on newspaper articles and several photo uploads of foodie friends. Their food always looks delicious on instagram! Hahaha! So on one of my meeting days in Fort, we decided to check it out. We've been very good in our spending anyways, so we thought we would treat ourselves. It was EXCELLENT! Damn.
