Hotel Elizabeth (Baguio)

I really wish I had taken more room shots of Hotel Elizabeth. It was a really pretty place, and worth it's price.

Back story here is, we were supposed to stay at our house in Baguio. My cousin, who was an hour ahead of us on the road, saw that the road leading to the house was being renovated. Since it was a narrow and winding road, we decided not to stay in the house instead, especially since it was late at night already. We didn't want to have to deal with figuring out if the electricity and running water had any kinks.

I had read about Hotel Elizabeth in a magazine, where they featured the owner. I saw online that they had a 50% percent sale on the prices! It came out about P2,500/night. Ordinarily J and I would stay at a lower priced place, but when we're the kids we're concerned about safety and cleanliness. We were relieved that they had available rooms. At 11PM, we were tired and ready to just pass out on a clean place. Luckily, Hotel Elizabeth was beautiful and warm and welcoming!

Each room has a veranda that opens up to a hotel on the back or front or side. And any side, the view was GORGEOUS! Just pine trees galore. And it was very private, your neighbors couldn't look in, because there were so many trees! You could really feel that the air was so clean here. I think, if you're the type, you can even leave the veranda door open and just lock the screen, so that you can sleep with the fresh air coming in. As most hotels in Baguio, no aircon here. But definitely not needed.

Pretty gazebos around the front for photo op, or just hanging around, like we did.

View from the lobby. Very airy feel to this place.

The package came with free 2 breakfasts. They were delicious! On Saturday, it was a buffet breakfast. I was expecting a so-so breakfast, but really, all of them were good! The kids ordered cereal, for P90+.

Sadly, no room shots. But I promise, it was really great. The staff was helpful and friendly too. I should add that this hotel is a walking distance from both Minesview AND Wright Park. Crazy. If you have kids who love those horses (like my kids), this is the place to be.

Side note, there's a vegetarian restaurant in the lobby that's known for delicious veggie dishes, but we were not able to try it out. Perhaps next time!
